Overview major changes:
- Questions for studies with medical devices for in vitro diagnostics were modified;
- Change in automatic flow regarding retrospective studies for medical device development;
- Document module was modified:
o Metadata of several documents can be modified simultaneously;
o After document upload, metadata can be added immediately via a pop-up window;
o Documents cannot be deleted after submission. These should be ‘archived’ if no longer relevant; - Advice DPO to investigator is visible (when applicable);
- Change in roles and rights of users;
- Service-related requests (e.g. internal CME processes) are visible only to relevant users and no longer to all users;
- General changes to the functionality of the backoffice flow environment;
- The ‘Advice CME’ template was extended to include ‘Aanvraag Medical Need Programs (MNP)’.
The Legal Service UZ Gent will also review the contract via this flow.
Useful features from previous updates:
- Ability to add ‘back-up-aanvrager’ and ‘back-up aanvrager groepen’. Those individuals get the same rights and emails as the original requestor;
- Link to active ticket always to be found under tab ‘Overzicht onderzoek’;
- Short flow CME assessment thesis was added;
- Theses with more than one student are now submitted as one application (instead of per student).
