HINT Innovation Sprint – 23 October 2025

Are you ready to unleash your creativity and tackle real-world challenges? Join the HINT.GENT Innovation Sprint, where brainstorming meets innovation!

The innovation sprint aims to generate practical and impactful ideas for developing AI-driven tools in healthcare. Like a hackathon, you’ll collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, focusing on conceptualization rather than prototyping. Throughout the process, you’ll receive expert coaching and guidance, following design thinking principles. Each team will pitch its unique ideas, and a jury will honour the teams with awards!

Themes for this year:
1 Patient-centred care
2 Operational processes  and administrative simplifications
3 Medical diagnostics and decision making

Who are we looking for?
We’re bringing together diverse minds to create innovative solutions. Whether you already have an idea or just want to join this experience, we are looking for you! We are looking for:

  • Healthcare professionals (i.e. medical doctors, allied health professionals, health researchers, administrative staff in healthcare…)  These individuals bring firsthand knowledge of patient care, healthcare processes, and the challenges within medical settings, providing critical insights into practical needs and solutions.
  • A biomedical researcher (i.e. biomarkers, sensors, hardware…) Biomedical researchers work at the intersection of science and technology to advance medical diagnostics, treatment monitoring, and the development of innovative tools for healthcare applications. Their expertise drives the translation of scientific discoveries into practical healthcare innovations.
  • An AI/Tech expert (i.e. data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers, AI specialists…) These experts focus on developing algorithms, analyzing complex datasets, and creating technological solutions to optimize healthcare processes, enhance decision-making, and drive innovation in medical tools and systems.
  • A designer or User Experience (UX) expert or social science researcher (i.e. psychologists, sociologists, UX/UI designers, product designers, and human-centered design experts…) These people ensure that tools and systems are accessible, effective, and aligned with the user’s experience, whether it’s for healthcare providers, patients, or researchers.
  • Anyone else with an interest in or affiliation with AI in healthcare

Bring your fresh perspectives, collaborate with diverse minds, and create impactful solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
