Need2MedTech is an innovation program at Ghent University that guides you from clinical needs to technological solutions— and potentially, a future spin-off. Through a clinical immersion, hands-on workshops and business & regulatory coaching you’ll learn to turn scientific insights into something tangible, valuable, and impactful.

The full Need2MedTech program is aimed at 3rd or 4th year PhD students or postdocs at UGent who are involved in research relevant to medical innovation or have a strong passion for it.
