The Innovative Public Procurement Programme (PIO) offers Flemish public organisations the opportunity to develop and validate innovative solutions through public procurement. These solutions provide answers to the problems or challenges facing your public organisation. These problems and challenges can be of many kinds. PIO projects can be motivated by a practical problem (achieving efficiency or quality gains) or by a larger social challenge or transition (such as digitisation, climate, ageing, sustainability, etc.).
