We believe it is crucial that this new knowledge can translate into concrete improvements in clinical treatment in the short term. We do this by supporting scientists who passionately pursue research into treatments for paediatric tumours for 23 years. We choose projects for which there is little commercial interest, but which can make a big difference to children. Support from the Olivia Fund should also stimulate interest in this area of research and cooperation between research institutions and hospitals within this area of research.
