King Baudouin Foundation – Supporting adolescents through body-oriented approach

  • Post category:Funding Open

Adolescence is a crucial period of self-discovery and discovery of others, but this very specific and enriching stage has its own particular challenges: Teenagers question their own existence and often seek to develop their strengths and abilities, realise their potential and live life to the full, which drives them to nurture and grow what is alive within them.

They renew their sense of existence and identity by exploring, accepting and embracing their rapidly changing bodies. Body-based practices help them to become aware of what is happening inside them, to adapt and to integrate into reality while maintaining a personal representation of what is fundamental to them.

With this call for proposals, the Huoshen Fund aims to support organisations developing psychophysical activities for adolescents in order to raise their awareness of the importance of taking care of their lives by learning a body-based practice under the guidance of qualified trainers.

Budget: 5.000 euro
