The federal government offers the possibility to exceptionally extend tax-exempt doctoral scholarships coming to the end of their term by up to 6 months without jeopardising the non-eligibility of the doctoral scholarship if it can be shown that a delay in their doctoral research is due to the measures taken during the COVID-19 pandemic.
