On the initiative of the AstraZeneca Foundation, the FWO and the F.R.S-FNRS will award 3 scientific prizes of each 25.000 euros each in 2024:
- Scientific Award AstraZeneca Foundation in Personalized medicine in cardiovascular diseases in recognition of innovative scientific research leading to novel insights in personalized medicine in cardiovascular diseases.
- Scientific Award AstraZeneca Foundation in New advances in diagnosis/treatment of monogenic rare diseases in recognition of innovative scientific research leading to novel insights in new advances in diagnosis/treatment of monogenic rare diseases.
- Scientific Award AstraZeneca Foundation in New multidisciplinary approaches to tackle the obesity pandemic in recognition of innovative scientific research leading to novel insights in new multidisciplinary approaches to tackle the obesity pandemic.
