If you are looking for funding to publish a book, a journal or an article, you can apply for a grant from the University Foundation.
There are some conditions attached to the grant. The grant can only be awarded to works that are demonstrably the result of research in a Belgian research unit. Open Access is stimulated. A bonus is that subsidised books can be included in VABB.
Be sure to take the submission dates into account. Every year, there are three periods in which a request for a grant for books can be submitted, namely on 15 September, 15 January and 15 April. A request for a grant in support of scientific journals must be submitted before 15 April. Grant applications for scientific articles can be submitted all year round.
