The federal coalition agreement foresees measures to avoid unnecessary hospital stays, combined with offering alternative and innovative forms of care. The call for pilot projects on transmural care for chronically ill children is addressed to the hospital sector with the possibility to submit proposals of projects that in an innovative way can make care for the chronically ill child take place more in the home environment or decrease the duration of hospitalization of the chronically ill child in cooperation with primary care.
